Late, Loud, and Full of Lore

Masks of Nyarlathotep crashes the server, mice go on quests, and Icelanders return from summer... with big fall updates on the horizon.
Sweet Questers, we lied to you. We promised you weekly Monday updates. And yet... here we are. On a Friday. Weeks later. We can only say: sorry. Let’s explain.
Verslunarmannahelgi (aka: Iceland’s Last Hurrah of Summer)
This past Monday was Verslunarmannahelgi, Iceland’s version of a bank holiday blowout: camping, festivals, road trips, and no work in sight. It’s the unofficial end of summer, when nearly the whole country collectively touches grass and unplugs. Naturally, that included us.
Some of us (Gunnar, Gummi, & Helgi) also spent last week at Gen Con in Indianapolis, running games and talking shop with fellow nerds in Chaosium’s game room (shoutout to everyone who came by!).
But even amid the chaos and sunshine, we’ve been shipping. Let’s catch up.
Marketplace Releases
- Call of Cthulhu: Masks of Nyarlathotep: One of the biggest campaigns in TTRPG history is now live. So big, in fact, that early purchases briefly crashed our servers. (We fixed it.)
- Pendragon: Everything Bundle: Knights, chivalry, myth, and all the supplements. This bundle pulls the sword from the stone and puts it straight in your inventory.
- RuneQuest: The Pegasus Plateau & Other Stories: Seven Gloranthan plug-and-play adventures, perfect for mixing into your next campaign or one-shot rotation.
- Star System RPG & Horrific Conspiracy: From our Discord friend Alchemy Ink, both books (plus Character Sheets!) are now free in Beta. Sleek indie systems with a cinematic vibe and high storytelling potential.
- Mausritter SRD & Character Sheet: Tiny mice. Big quests. Massive charm.
- Ironsworn SRD & Character Sheet: A gritty, narrative-driven solo or co-op RPG.

Looking Ahead
Starting now, we’re switching changelogs to Fridays, so your weekend reading (and planning) is a little more exciting.
We’ve got bigger updates coming this fall, including new tools, new systems, and maybe even some cursed relics. Until then, enjoy the quiet and keep your dice sharp. Happy adventuring!
