Shadowrun is a science fantasy TTRPG set in an alternate future where cybernetics, magic, and fantasy creatures coexist. Set in a world heavily influenced by a massive magical event, players take on the roles of shadowrunners, deniable mercenaries performing data thefts, espionage, and physical break-ins for corporations and underworld figures. It did not fall into place by happenstance. It was deliberately designed, and it was not designed for you. What you think shadowrunners are is as much about yourself as it is about them. Corp drones see them as nuisances or necessary assets, depending on the day of the week. Law enforcement sees them as criminals who need to be locked up.
