Run games players will talk about for years

Best organization tool for DMs, hands down!

Haven’t dealt with it on the player-end, so can’t speak for that. But as a DM for 5e, this thing is amazing. I mostly use the desktop version, but it’s nice to have access to mobile on the go. I use the notes and scenes to design encounters, but what’s icing on the cake is the AI assistant. I use it to generate quick loot/item tables, random monsters to spice things up. One instance that really impressed me was when i asked it to create a special attack for a boss monster that i thought could use a boost in difficulty. It came up with something reasonable and powerful in a matter of seconds.

The assistant AI is amazing as an endless source of ideas. Feels like you are constantly bouncing ideas and plans for your game. I've started using it for all games I'm running now.

A gift to DMs

So far I’m loving this app. The possibilities are endless.

Learning to use a VTT can be very daunting, but Quest Portal is the most user-friendly and accessible one that I have ever tried. I expected there to be a decent learning curve to figure out how it worked, but everything was simple and clear.

You know what, this sounds like an excellent modern adventure: "A company trains AI in eldritch stuff only to discover it is trying summon Elder God. Enter the Investigators"...

This is the solution I've been waiting for, and it already has so much more than I initially thought! Tried using world anvil, but I'm not great at writing things out in a compositionally pleasing and comprehensive format, I do much better at mad goblin word vomit. That and I found all its different prompts, not only daunting, but illfitting for my own ideas. Quest Portal tho! It's the 5e to World Anvil's 3.5. it's streamlined, intuitive, and most of all Useful! 100 out of 10 would recommend!
